Branding Project

This unit we are to do one or more live brief alongside our locating project and have a range of options to do, this week I have chosen ‘branding’ as it involves fashion and can do a lot of knit with in it. I think it will be very exciting to aim my work for a chosen brand and see how I manage 2 projects along side each other. 

After a lot of research I have chosen to work for the brand 'Chloe', I am very excited to aim my work for such a sophisticated, feminine and classic brand. Chloe have both their ready to wear collection by Chloe and also a 'See by Chloe' range which is a more fun and a younger style. After looking into collections for both over the past few years I have chosen to produce a collection of Knit wear samples for the original Chloe ready to wear as I feel the 'See by Chloe' is more based on print and pattern where as I'd like to focus my work more on technique and colour. 

Pre Fall 2014- Chloe

As Chloe are not a brand focused mainly on knit, I am creating my collection inspired by the brand as a whole instead of focusing on their knitwear only. 

My collection for Branding will be Autumn/Winter so it gives me the opportunity to play with texture and body within the knit samples.
