Summer feedback

I have found this first feedback very helpful as I felt I became stuck at the end of summer with how to move on with my work. I also found it useful to see other peoples work as well as how they work, for example through sketchbook sizes or media they use.

I had the advice I expected in terms of colour, I had used none over summer and knew I needed to experiment with colour schemes and how much colour to add into my work. I have also been advised to take risks in the style of drawing I am doing and seeing one of my peers use loose sheets instead of working in a sketchbook has got me thinking that I would take more risks by working this way.

Through discussing what I felt made me come to a standstill at the end of summer, my peers advised me to not think so much about my drawings and how I would link them to knit before drawing it and to just draw and go from there.

I was told I suit more minimalistic drawings and that I would work well with the urban influences brief.

I feel much more relaxed now about how to move on with my week and I am looking forward to the next weeks drawings after the advice and help I’ve been given.
